By the time we launched Wander & Pour Travel, we had gained 15 years of combined experience in the travel industry. Our journey started when we were college roommates. After graduation, Kristin spent seven years with a hospitality and travel company, delving into the intricacies of global travel. Meanwhile, Katie embarked on an adventure in luxury service aboard a yacht, indulging in the opulence of high-end travel. Her passion for catering to elite clientele took off as she transitioned to stewarding private charter planes, catering to celebrities, business executives, and entertainment icons worldwide. She finally planted herself on land, handling event sales at a chic boutique hotel in Marina Del Rey.
Fast forward, Katie fell for Kristin's husband's brother and we're now sister-in-law's, aunties to each other's toddlers and the pair behind Wander & Pour Travel, operating from both Southern California and New Mexico.
Prior to having kids, we had evolved into the go-to "connectors" for our circle, curating experiences for friends and family. We'd spent many sun-drenched family summers roaming Santa Barbara , fondly dubbed the American Riviera, and contribute the mix of ocean air, endless palm trees and lush mountain backdrop to igniting our passion for planning celebratory travel. It's a perennial favorite for girls' getaways, bachelorette weekends, romantic escapes, or sun-soaked family vacations.
It's in the moments of travel where we found ourselves with room to breath, to soak in our circle and we felt drawn to help other people do the same. As moms to toddlers, we felt the tug of time and the complexity of adding a few new heads to our travel plans.
